Architects of Air Present Luminarium

Prepare for an unparalleled experience. The Luminarium by Architects of Air is an expansive inflatable architectural marvel, spanning 45m by 35m, encompassing a total area of 1,000m2 of luminous, intricately designed passageways suitable for visitors of all ages.
Perth will host the debut of the ‘Aborialis’ luminarium, the most recent immersive installation by the esteemed UK-based Architects of Air. This marks their much-anticipated return to Australia following a 4-year intermission.

“Fire Gardens,” crafted by the acclaimed French collective Compagnie Carabosse, is an entrancing exhibit of firelight, kinetic sculptures, and live music. Upon entry, visitors are greeted by an immersive experience illuminated by thousands of handcrafted candles, firepots, and lanterns. The ambiance is further enriched by melodies tailored for the flames, casting evocative shadows upon the Government House walls. Renowned globally for their luminary artistry, from Stonehenge to Moscow’s Kremlin Square, Compagnie Carabosse collaborates with local Noongar custodian Mitchella ‘Waljin’ Hutchins, ensuring cultural authenticity in presenting “Fire Gardens” on Noongar land.
Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak | 6-9 October | Free
Participants will embark on a captivating 1.4km journey through an immersive installation representing the six Noongar seasons and the region’s rich narratives. As they traverse, Kings Park’s majestic trees transform into a dynamic canvas, illustrating the richness of Noongar Boodjar and emphasising the imperative of land conservation.
Groundswell festival

Hosted by the City of Stirling, the Groundswell Festival invites you to a dynamic beach-side weekend. Spanning three days, the festival features surfing, 3 on 3 basketball, skating, music, arts, wellness, BMX, and a focus on sustainability, among other attractions.
